, International Volley ball player who represented India in S Volleyball league Tariq has been selected for the two-month long India camp to be held at SAI Bangalore from tomorrow. 
Tariq has been called for the senior camp on the basis of his performance in National Volleyball Championship, a handout issued here today informed. 
As per communication by secretary general Volleyball Federation of India (VFI), Ramavtar Singh  Jakhar to Volleyball Association of J&K, Tariq’s name figured in the shortlisted players for the camp. The camp is being organised so as to preparing the Indian team for 20th Asian Senior Men's Championship to be held at Iran from September 13 to September 21.
Saqlain Tariq, who belongs to district Poonch, has already represented India in 10th Asian Youth Volleyball Championship held at Colombo Sri Lanka in 2014. As also Tariq has represented India in Junior Asian Volleyball Championship at Chinese Taipai 2016 and participated in BRICS Games at Johannesburg (South Africa) and won Bronze medal. He was part of the Kochi (Chennai) team in the Volleyball League.
Meanwhile, Volleyball Association of J&K (VAJK) president, Sidharth Daluja and other office bearers congratulated Saqlain Tariq for yet another milestone and wished him to be part of the Indian team.
